Hey everyone, DennisCW here! Welcome back to another update packed with the latest Tesla news, deals, and insights. If you’ve been on the fence about getting a Tesla Model Y, this is your final call to lock in the incredible 1.99% financing offer for the all-wheel drive (AWD) trim. With just 24 hours left (as of this post), I’m breaking down everything you need to know to snag this deal, plus some inventory discounts, insider tips, and exciting Tesla updates. Let’s dive in!
Today marks the end of Tesla’s 1.99% financing offer for the Model Y all-wheel drive. If you’re interested, you’ve got to act fast. Here’s what you need to do:
Important Note: This offer does not stack with the $2,000 Model Y loyalty incentive, so keep that in mind when planning your purchase. If you’re ready to move forward, don’t forget to use a Tesla referral code (like mine in the description below) to get 3 months of Full Self-Driving (FSD) added to your vehicle.
Tesla has some inventory discounts on Model Y AWD units, and I’ve noticed a pattern in their pricing strategy:
I’ve compiled the best inventory deals in a spreadsheet linked below, covering both Model 3 and Model Y. Honestly, some of these discounts aren’t game-changers (like $500 off a Model Y with 776 miles), but they’re nice to have if you spot one in stock. My advice? If your estimated delivery date is in July or later, reach out to your Tesla rep. They might match you with existing inventory for quicker delivery and potentially throw in a credit (up to $1,000) to sweeten the deal. Tesla is motivated to hit end-of-quarter numbers, especially with this financing offer and June 30th looming.
Pro Tip: Call or visit your local Tesla store to negotiate. They want to move vehicles by month’s end, so you might score some last-minute perks!
With the 1.99% financing ending, I’m predicting bigger inventory discounts or new offers after June 16th. There’s also speculation about new trims (like a 7-seater Model Y) or Tesla standardizing financing rates across trims through the end of the month. If you’re risk-averse, lock in now. If you can wait, keep an eye out for Quarter 3 or 4 deals—historically, September and December bring the best incentives.
Once you’ve got your Model Y, protecting it should be a priority. I recently saw an incredible ceramic coating job by my friend Zach on a black Model Y—it’s like a mirror finish! Ceramic coating, paired with paint correction to remove swirls, makes the color pop and protects your investment. If you’re in the LA/OC area, check out Andre at 24K Shine. He’s worked on all my Teslas, uses top-tier products like Gyeon Ceramic, and offers mobile services. Mention the “Dennis Deal” for a special hookup! Hit him up on Instagram for recent Tesla projects.
I’m thrilled to share that our custom Model Y, upgraded by Unplugged Performance, will be at Electrify Expo this Saturday or Sunday (TBD). If you’re there, come say hi! I’m also curious about a unique “frozen” Model Y wrap I came across—whether it’s AI-generated or real, it’s a cool concept. And if you’re in the LA/OC area taking delivery of a Model Y Rear Wheel Drive, DM me on Instagram. I’d love to join you and see one in person!
Beyond the 1.99% financing, here are other incentives to consider:
Tesla recently introduced 0% financing for the Cybertruck, but with a catch—you must purchase Full Self-Driving (FSD). Unlike other Tesla models, the Cybertruck doesn’t come with standard Autopilot, so FSD is almost a necessity for advanced driver assistance. While Foundation Series Cybertrucks sold out quickly, other trims aren’t seeing a massive sales spike. Inventory charts show no significant drop, which might push Tesla to offer 0% financing without the FSD requirement in Q3 or Q4. Could this extend to Model S or X? It’s possible, as 0% on high-priced vehicles like these would be unprecedented (lowest I’ve seen is 3.99%). What do you think—will Tesla expand 0% offers? Let me know in the comments!
If you’re financing a Tesla, protecting your credit is crucial. Data breaches, like the recent Bank of America incident (unreported for a month), can expose your info for up to 277 days on average before you’re notified. That’s why I use Aura, today’s sponsor, to monitor the dark web for my personal data, reduce spam calls, and remove my info from sketchy broker sites. Aura also offers $5 million in identity theft insurance, all in one easy app. Try it free for 14 days at aura.com/denniscw (link below). Don’t wait until it’s too late—protect your data now, just like I do.
New Teslas come with zero accessories—not even a phone mount. Here are my top picks from partners:
Thanks to everyone who joined the live stream—Blueberry, Caleb, Nifty Nerd, Paul, Dan Smith, and more! Congrats to Nifty on ordering a Rear Wheel Drive Model Y (great value with long range) and to Paul for the AWD Model Y order. A few quick Q&As:
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there, and thanks for the support—likes, comments, and subscriptions keep this channel going!
