Hey everyone, DennisCW here! Welcome back to another exciting update on all things Tesla. Today, I’ve got some urgent news for anyone eyeing a Tesla Model 3 with 0% financing. Tesla has just announced an end date for this incredible offer, and it’s coming up fast—June 30th! In this post, I’ll break down everything you need to know to take advantage of this deal before it’s gone, plus touch on some other hot Tesla topics like the recent Model S and Model X refresh. Let’s dive in!
If you’ve been considering a Tesla Model 3, now is the time to act. Tesla recently updated their website to confirm that the 0% financing offer for the Model 3 (over 60 months) will end by June 30th. This means you need to place your order, complete your credit application, and take delivery of your vehicle by the end of this month to lock in this deal.
Not sure if you qualify for the financing? Tesla makes it easy with a pre-qualification button on their inventory or builder page for a soft credit inquiry. For the full picture, though, you’ll need to place a $250 deposit (don’t forget to use a referral code!) and complete the credit application. Remember, delivery must happen by June 30th, so time is of the essence. Pro tip: Even if delivery slips by a few days, Tesla has honored such offers in the past—just don’t bank on it and push for an end-of-month pickup.
Check out my Best Deal Spreadsheet linked in the video description for the latest discounts on Model 3s across the country. With this deadline, I expect a rush of buyers, so inventory may move quickly!
One thing to consider: the current Model 3 lacks a front bumper camera, unlike newer Tesla models. If this feature is a must-have for enhanced Autopilot or Smart Summon, you might want to hold off. Will Tesla offer retrofits? It’s uncertain, and they might avoid it to push sales of newer models. Let me know in the comments if you’re waiting for an update or jumping on this 0% deal!
Before you apply for financing, let’s talk about protecting your personal data. With recent data breaches like Bank of America’s (where customers weren’t notified for a month), your identity could be at risk without you even knowing. On average, companies take 277 days to report breaches—that’s 9 months of exposure!
That’s why I use Aura, today’s sponsor. Aura scans the dark web for my personal info (Social Security, bank details, etc.) and alerts me instantly if anything’s compromised. They also offer tools to reduce spam calls, remove your data from shady broker sites, and provide up to $5 million in identity theft insurance—all in one easy app. Try Aura free for 14 days at aura.com/denniscw (link in the video description). Protect your credit before applying for financing—it’s like turning on Sentry Mode before your car gets keyed!
Switching gears, let’s talk about the recent refresh for the Model S and Model X. Tesla has quietly raised prices on these models by about $12,000 over the past year, with a recent $5,000 bump. So, what’s new in this refresh, and is it worth it?
Despite these updates, some features feel lacking. Why no Powershare technology, which is already on the Cybertruck? And while matrix headlights and new wheel designs (like the 20-inch Perihelix rims) are nice, they don’t justify the price increase for many. Inventory discounts of $5,000–$9,500 are still available, but with the base price hike, the value proposition is questionable.
Having owned a 2022 Model X, I’m not sold on the refresh at this price point. Tesla seems to be positioning the Cybertruck as the better value for high-end buyers (it’s $6,000–$10,000 cheaper than a Model X!). If you’re in the market for an $80,000–$90,000 Tesla, which would you pick? Drop your thoughts in the comments! And if you’re in the LA area with a new Model S or X Plaid, DM me on Instagram—I’d love to check it out in person.
With all these updates, a common question arises: Which Tesla is the best bang for your buck? Having owned a Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck since 2019, here’s my quick breakdown:
Tesla seems to be steering buyers toward the Model Y and Cybertruck for volume sales. What do you think—where’s the best value? Let me know!
