Hey everyone, DennisCW here! I’m thrilled to bring you some exciting news about Tesla Model Y deals that are happening right now. If you’ve been eyeing a Model Y, this might just be the perfect time to pull the trigger. In this post, we’re diving into the latest inventory discounts, financing offers, and additional incentives you can stack to maximize your savings. Plus, I’ll share some tips on finding the best deals and my thoughts on whether these discounts are worth it. Let’s get into it!
Tesla has rolled out some enticing inventory discounts on the Model Y All-Wheel Drive (AWD), with savings of up to $1,200 on select vehicles. On top of that, you can take advantage of a fantastic 1.99% financing offer if you order by June 16th (delivery can be taken after this date). This combo of discounts and low financing rates is a rare opportunity to save big on a new Tesla.
But that’s not all! There are additional incentives you can stack to sweeten the deal:
When you add up inventory discounts, financing offers, and these extra incentives, the savings really start to pile up. Let’s break down how you can find these deals and decide if they’re worth it for you.
Finding these discounted vehicles is super easy through Tesla’s official website. Here’s a quick step-by-step guide:
I scouted some of the top discounts and found savings ranging from $500 to $1,220. However, there’s a catch with the biggest discounts—many of these are on demo vehicles with mileage already on them (often around 2,000 miles). Let’s talk about whether these are worth considering.
Demo vehicles are often used for test drives, showroom displays, or 48-hour test drive programs, which explains the mileage. While a $1,000 discount on a vehicle with 2,000 miles might sound tempting, I personally think the discount should be more substantial to justify the mileage. My rule of thumb? I’d want at least $1 per mile off—ideally $2 per mile. So, for a vehicle with 2,000 miles, I’d expect a discount of $2,000 to $4,000 to make it worthwhile.
For reference, I’ve purchased a demo Model Y in the past with 888 miles on it and scored a $4,000 discount—a deal I was thrilled with. The current discounts on Tesla’s site don’t quite meet that threshold for me, but as we approach the end of June, I suspect we might see deeper discounts. Tesla often ramps up incentives at the end of a quarter, so stay tuned!
If you come across a killer deal or lock one down, I’d love to hear about it! Send me a screenshot, and I’ll highlight the best finds in future content to help others snag great deals too.
Beyond inventory discounts, the 1.99% financing offer is a game-changer for buyers this month. Pair this with the inventory discounts and additional incentives like the $1,000 America’s Heroes Day discount, and you’re looking at significant savings. Tesla’s strategy seems to be shifting away from outright MSRP cuts (like the $11,000 Model Y price drop in 2023) and focusing more on inventory discounts and financing offers to move vehicles.
Don’t forget to use a Tesla referral code before you buy. It’s an easy way to get 3 months of FSD added to your purchase at no extra cost. Check the link in my video description for my referral code and start stacking those benefits!
While you’re gearing up to buy a Tesla, don’t overlook the importance of protecting your credit and personal data. With recent data breaches (like Bank of America’s, where customers weren’t notified for a month), your information could be at risk without you even knowing. That’s why I use Aura, today’s sponsor, to monitor the dark web for my personal info and reduce spam calls. Aura also offers tools to remove your data from sketchy broker sites and provides up to $5 million in identity theft insurance—all in one easy app.
You can try Aura free for 14 days at aura.com/denniscw. Protect your credit before applying for financing—it’s like turning on Sentry Mode before your car gets keyed. I’m using it, and you should too!
June is shaping up to be a strong end-of-quarter month for Tesla deals, and we’re only at the beginning. I expect more incentives and possibly deeper discounts as we get closer to the end of the month. If you’re on the fence about a Model Y, keep an eye on Tesla’s inventory page and consider acting before the June 16th deadline for the 1.99% financing offer.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! Are these discounts tempting enough for you? Have you found any amazing deals on a Model Y or other Tesla models?
