Hey everyone, Dennis here from DennisCW! If you're into Tesla deal hacking like I am, you've probably noticed some shifts in the market lately. In my latest video, I dove deep into the current demand issues facing the Tesla Model Y, especially the standard range version. Inventory is piling up, discounts are popping up, and it feels like Tesla needs a fresh approach to get these cars moving. Let's break it down, share my thoughts on how Tesla could turn things around, and cover some other exciting Tesla updates.
Right now, the Tesla Model Y is facing a bit of a demand slump. Just a month ago, inventory was scarce, but now the pages are endless with available units. I've heard from multiple people that Tesla is reaching out, urging them to pick up their vehicles sooner—sometimes even offering incentives like $500 in Supercharging credits to collect from a farther location.
The standard range Model Y seems to be hit hardest. We're seeing discounts as high as $2,790 on repaired demos with around 2,500 miles, and $2,000 off on others. If you're shopping, don't forget to use a Tesla referral code (like mine in the description below) for up to $1,000 off your purchase.
With the earnings call coming up and the loss of the $7,500 federal tax credit for many, people might be sitting on the sidelines. If you missed out on that credit but think you're eligible, hit me up via email or DM—I might be able to point you in the right direction.
The Model Y standard is positioned as Tesla's entry-level vehicle, but at current prices and 5.14% interest rates, it's not flying off the lots. Here's how I think Tesla could make it irresistible:
I remember renting an apartment where chargers were available but often contested—free Supercharging would eliminate that drama and make ownership seamless.
What do you think? Are you waiting on a Tesla delivery? Has Tesla offered you any incentives? Drop your stories in the comments or DM me with screenshots—I love sharing tips to help everyone get the best deal.
I'm betting we'll see incentives soon—maybe as early as Thursday after the earnings call. Inventory is skyrocketing, and Q4 could bring big price cuts or 0% APR deals (we haven't seen those all year for Model Y).
Speaking of deals, if you're pending delivery and want Full Self-Driving (FSD) for half off, message me—I can guide you. Also, check out our giveaway: Enter with the secret code "Giga Texas" on Gleam for a chance to win one of three Tesla Bot action figures. Only hours left!
Before financing your Tesla, protect your credit. Recent breaches like Bank of America's highlight the risks—companies often wait months to notify you. That's why I use Aura, our sponsor. It scans the dark web for your info, reduces spam calls, removes your data from broker sites, and includes $5 million in identity theft insurance. On insurance, Lemonade is integrating with Tesla for potentially lower rates— one viewer saved $200 switching from State Farm. Check our insurance tracker sheet (linked below) for real user data on rates by model and state.
In FSD news, Elon teased version 14.2 for widespread release, fixing 95% of interventions and brakings. It even backs into parking spots now, which could be a game-changer. Plus, the Vegas Boring Tunnel might go driverless soon—exciting for my upcoming SEMA trip!
Unplugged Performance is outfitting Cybertrucks for police use, with bullbars, metal bumpers, and more—available for your own truck too. On batteries, a new Model Y pack costs $15,000 retail, but with an 8-year/120,000-mile warranty, it's not as scary as some claim. Refurb options can drop to $6-7k.
Your new Tesla comes with zero accessories, so stock up! I recommend Jowua's phone mounts, console organizers, and under-screen storage—use my promo code for savings and free shipping over $120. For floor mats, 3W All-Weather sets with lifetime warranty are my go-to (35% off with code Dennis35).

Tesla has some demand hurdles with the Model Y, but smart incentives like low payments and free Supercharging could change that. With FSD advancements and potential Q4 deals, it's an exciting time to be in the Tesla world. What are your predictions? Let me know in the comments!
