Tesla is rolling out a variety of creative incentives right now, and the best part? Some of these can be stacked together for maximum savings! Here’s the full list of what I’m calling "Tesla Cash" programs available as of today:

• Tesla Loyalty Discount: If you already own a Tesla, you can score an extra $500 off a Model 3 or Model Y, or $1,000 off a Model S, X, or even a Cybertruck.
• Early Model Y Owner Bonus: If you own a 2021 or older Model Y, you might have received a text or email offering $2,000 off a new purchase.
• America’s Everyday Heroes Incentive: A $1,000 discount for active duty military, retirees, first responders (police, EMTs, etc.), students, teachers, and school employees. Verification is simple through ID.me, just ensure your Tesla account email matches your ID.me email. One notable omission here is healthcare workers—nurses and doctors aren’t included yet, but I suspect Tesla might add them soon due to feedback.
• Lyft Driver Incentive: Brand new as of today, Lyft drivers can get $1,000 in Tesla credits upon delivery of any new Model S, 3, X, or Cybertruck, plus an additional $1,000 after completing 100 trips by July 13th. This seems to have replaced a similar Uber incentive from the past.

With car affordability hitting its lowest point this year (average monthly payments now at $753 according to Car Dealership Guy), Tesla is clearly trying to make their vehicles more accessible. So, my question to you: What incentive should Tesla add next? Maybe a bonus for healthcare workers or an EV trade-in bonus for those switching from other brands like Rivian or Lucid? Cybertruck Updates: Discounts on the Horizon?

The Tesla Cybertruck has been making waves, but it just lost the #1 spot in US electric pickup truck sales to the Ford F-150 Lightning in Q1 (based on S&P Global registrations). With competitors like Ford offering incredible lease deals—think $200-400/month for an F-150 Lightning—Tesla needs to step up. Here’s my wishlist for Cybertruck incentives to reclaim that top spot:

• A lease deal at $599/month or even $499/month.
• Zero down or 0% financing, similar to what’s available on the Model 3.
• Unlimited Supercharging, like the Model S and X.
• A 3-year Full Self-Driving (FSD) transfer program.

Additionally, Tesla has started accepting trade-ins for the Cybertruck Foundation Series, with offers ranging from $61,000 to $66,000 depending on mileage. However, be cautious—Tesla trade-in values can change quickly, so I often recommend alternatives like Carvana or CarMax unless you’re getting a state trade-in tax credit.
