You can now see two distinct programs when customizing your Tesla Model 3 or Model Y under the financing options:
- Military, First Responders, Teachers, and Student Purchase Program: Get $1,000 off your purchase.
- Lyft Driver Purchase Program: Receive $1,000 in Tesla credit (not cash) plus an additional $1,000 in cash from Lyft after verification.
What’s important to note is that you cannot stack these programs. You’ll need to pick one that suits you best. Verification for the first program is done via ID.me, while the Lyft program requires a login. - Red Model Y (3,600 miles): Comes with a $1,590 discount. It’s slightly better, but still not compelling. Plus, with these kinds of miles, the tires are likely not in the best condition.
