Tesla just slashed prices on the Premium Rear-Wheel Drive Model 3 in Canada to $39,490 CAD – that's roughly $29,000 USD! This isn't the base model; it's the nicer Premium version with extra comfort features.

For context:

US equivalent: $42,490 (about $13K more!)
You can't import it to the US, but this screams "price war incoming."

Check out Tesla's Canadian site – the pricing is bizarre. The Model 3 Performance is listed at $75,000 CAD (nearly double the Premium RWD).
