Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a Tesla enthusiast like me, you've probably been keeping a close eye on the Cybertruck scene. In my latest video, I dove into some exciting (and a bit mysterious) updates about the Cybertruck Foundation Series. Let's break it down in this blog post, based on what I discussed. Whether you're in the market for one or just curious about Tesla's moves, there's a lot to unpack.
The big news buzzing around is that the Cybertruck Foundation Series—the special 2024 edition with all the premium bells and whistles—is completely sold out in the US. I came across a post from a fellow Cybertruck aficionado who checked the inventory, and sure enough, zero units are showing up on the Tesla website in any major city. Congrats to everyone who snagged one, especially if you timed it right with that fantastic discount we recently picked up on ours!
This edition has been one of the better deals out there, particularly if you can layer on the business $7,500 incentive. But is it really sold out, or is something else at play? Let's talk about the inventory trends.
Using data from our go-to inventory tracking sites, it's clear that Cybertruck stock has plummeted dramatically. We're not talking a slow trickle—it's a sharp decline. So, what's going on? Here are a few possibilities I've been pondering:
Whatever the reason, it's got me advising potential buyers to hold tight. The current deal—0% financing with Full Self-Driving (FSD)—has been live for about a month now, and while sales haven't skyrocketed, inventory hasn't crashed either. Fingers crossed, we might see even sweeter incentives soon, like 0% financing without the FSD bundle. I know a lot of you are hoping for that!
That said, I personally recommend going all-in with FSD. It's a game-changer for the Cybertruck experience. But I get it—not everyone is sold on the tech or wants to let the truck drive itself. If you're more of a hands-on driver, that's totally valid. What are your thoughts? Drop them in the comments below—I'd love to hear if you're waiting for a better deal or jumping in now.
Speaking of Cybertrucks and Teslas in general, if you're picking up a new one, don't forget this: it doesn't come with all-weather floor mats. Trust me, after testing tons of options like 3D Maxpider, Tesmanian, and various Amazon brands, my absolute favorite is from 3W Liners.
I've got them in our Model X, Model 3, Model Y, and yes, the Cybertruck too. They're durable, fit perfectly, and keep your interior spotless. Right now, our partners at 3W Liners are offering an exclusive deal: Use promo code Dennis35 for a massive 35% off—their highest discount yet! That brings a set under $100, and it supports the channel. I especially recommend the Pro version for the Model Y, but they have options for all Tesla models.
Check the link in the description (or below) to grab yours and protect your ride from whatever the road throws at it.
