Elon's FSD Update Tease and Essential Tesla Accessories
Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a Tesla enthusiast like me, you've probably been glued to the latest news from Elon Musk about Full Self-Driving (FSD). In my recent video, I dove into the big updates Elon is teasing, and I also shared some must-have accessories for your Tesla. Let's break it down in this blog post – perfect for those who prefer reading or want a quick recap.
The Road to Unsupervised Full Self-Driving
The buzz around Tesla's FSD is reaching new heights, and the biggest question on everyone's mind is: When will we get unsupervised Full Self-Driving? Elon Musk recently dropped some hints that have us all excited. In a quote, he said, "The newest update will substantially reduce the need for driver attention, but some complex intersections, heavy weather or unusual events will still require attention."
This upcoming major update sounds like a game-changer, focusing on improvements in rare conditions and further reducing the need for driver intervention. It's a step closer to that hands-off experience we've all been dreaming about. While we'll still need to monitor the system for now, these incremental improvements could make FSD feel more reliable in the coming months.
A common question I get is whether unsupervised FSD will require Hardware 4 or even Hardware 5. From what we're seeing, these updates align perfectly with Tesla's RoboTaxi plans. As more RoboTaxis hit the road, we might see those advancements trickle down to consumer vehicles. It's an exciting time – what do you think? Will we see unsupervised FSD sooner than expected? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
Must-Have Accessories for Your Tesla
Switching gears, let's talk about something every new Tesla owner quickly realizes: your shiny new ride comes with zero accessories. Not even a phone mount! But don't worry – I've got you covered with my top recommendations from our partner, Joah.
In my opinion, here are a few essentials every Tesla owner should grab:
- Phone Mount: Keeps your phone secure during those quick accelerations – no more flying devices!
- Center Console Organizer: Say goodbye to losing small items in the abyss.
- Invisible Underscreen Storage Mount: My newest favorite from Joah – perfect for stashing sunglasses or other quick-access items.
These aren't just random picks; I use Joah's products myself, and they're top-notch. Plus, they've got even more cool stuff like:
- A wireless game controller that fits neatly in the glove box.
- A portable air compressor for peace of mind on long trips.
- An electric scooter – because who wants to walk from the Supercharger?
