Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a fan of Tesla or just love checking out the latest in electric vehicles, you're in for a treat. In my latest video, I stumbled upon what I believe is my first sighting of the refreshed Tesla Model X in the stunning Diamond Black color. Let me tell you, this spec is an absolute showstopper. If I were in the market for another Model X, this would be at the top of my list. Let's dive into why this color and setup had me so impressed.
The Diamond Black paint on this Model X is nothing short of phenomenal. It's a deep, metallic finish that really pops under bright sunlight, especially when it's been cleaned and ceramic coated. The color has this subtle shimmer that elevates the entire look of the vehicle. Paired with those sleek wheels, it creates a spec that's both elegant and aggressive.
One thing I immediately thought about was customizing it further. I'd black out everything – think matte black accents and window tints – to give it that extra edge and make it truly stand out. We got a close-up look at the rear, and while the refresh doesn't bring massive exterior changes (which is a bit disappointing), the new Diamond Black option is a welcome addition. It's fresh, modern, and definitely turns heads.
Oh, and let's not forget the emblems! I almost missed this detail, but they're done in matte black, which adds a subtle yet impactful touch. The Tesla lettering on the back is blacked out too, giving the whole vehicle a cohesive, stealthy vibe. It's these little changes that make the refreshed Model X and Model S feel special.
At first glance from afar, I thought the interior might be white – a popular choice, and one I have on my own Model Y. But up close, it revealed itself as the beige option. And honestly? I'm not mad at it. It's a nice departure from the stark white, offering a warmer, more sophisticated feel. If I were speccing out my next Tesla, I'd seriously consider beige for that different aesthetic. It's practical too, potentially hiding dirt a bit better than pure white.
I was curious if this was a Plaid model, but the video didn't confirm it definitively – though the overall package screams performance. The refresh keeps the core Model X DNA intact, which is great for fans of the original design, but I do wish there were more bold updates on the outside.
That said, once these start hitting the used market and depreciating a bit, they could be an incredible value. The combination of the new color, subtle emblem upgrades, and that signature Tesla tech makes it worth considering.
