Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you caught my video yesterday, you probably saw the buzz around a leaked photo of what many hoped was the Tesla Model Y Performance. Well, I’ve got an update for you—and a little bit of a reality check. Let’s dive into the details and explore what’s real, what’s fake, and what we wish could be the future of the Model Y Performance.
So, that supposed Model Y Performance concept photo I shared with you all turned out to be... well, not real. We had a hunch it might be a Photoshop job, and we were right on the money. The image making the rounds was indeed a doctored version of a standard Model Y All-Wheel Drive. Here’s the original photo for comparison—definitely not a Performance variant.
As much as we’re all itching for Tesla to roll out the Model Y Performance, this leak was nothing more than a creative edit. But hey, that doesn’t mean we can’t dream, right?
While the leaked image was fake, it did spark some inspiration. My friend Dominic took the idea and ran with it, creating a stunning concept of what a Model Y Performance could look like. I’ve got to say, I’m loving the design—especially the aggressive front bumper and the addition of a lower spoiler. It’s subtle but impactful, giving the car a sportier, more distinct vibe.
Here’s my take: when you’re shelling out extra cash for a Performance variant, it needs to stand out visually. If Tesla releases a Model Y Performance that looks identical to the standard version, that would be a major letdown. I mean, imagine paying a premium and getting a car that looks exactly the same as the base model. Not cool, right? I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this—drop a comment below and let me know what you think a Model Y Performance should look like!
While we wait for Tesla to unveil the real Model Y Performance, let’s talk about something just as important—protecting your ride. Whether you’re driving a brand-new Model Y or any other Tesla, keeping it in pristine condition is a must. That’s where my friends at Tesbros come in. They’ve developed an awesome DIY Paint Protection Film (PPF) kit to shield your car from scratches, chips, and road debris. They’ve got options ranging from essentials to full coverage, and you can snag a discount using my promo link in the description below.
Not into DIY? No worries. My buddy Andre at 24K Shine has worked on many of my previous Teslas, and he’s a pro at PPF installs and ceramic coatings. I highly recommend adding a ceramic coating for that extra layer of protection and shine. Mention the “Dennis Deal” when you reach out to him, and he’ll hook you up with a special offer. Check out the links below for all the details!
So, while the Model Y Performance leak turned out to be a bust, it’s still fun to speculate and dream about what Tesla has in store for us. What do you think a Model Y Performance should look like? Are you Team Aggressive Styling, or do you prefer a more understated look? Let me know in the comments—I’m jumping into the livestream chat to read your thoughts!
Until next time, keep your Teslas shining and your excitement for new models high. Catch you in the next video!
