Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a Tesla enthusiast like me, you've probably been keeping a close eye on the latest Model Y updates. Just when we thought the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) base model was set after its recent launch, spy shots from Europe suggest a quick refresh is already underway. Similar to the upgrades we saw on the Model Y Performance—like the larger 16-inch screen and black headliner—the standard RWD trim might be getting the black headliner treatment too!
These intriguing photos surfaced on Tesla forums in Germany and other European spots. Take a look at this image:

You can clearly tell it's a standard RWD model because of the visible gap in the trim (a telltale sign of the base version). But here's the exciting part: it features the sleek black headliner that's standard on the Premium and Performance variants. Produced at Giga Berlin, this build also hints at the 16-inch screen making its way down to the entry-level model.
Tesla loves to roll out improvements across factories simultaneously, so this could be coming to U.S. builds soon. If you've just taken delivery of a Model Y RWD or have one on order, it might be worth holding off a bit. Don't wait forever, though—these upgrades could drop any day now!
In the meantime, why not pimp out your current Model Y interior? One of my go-to sources for premium accessories is Jowua. Their top sellers include:
