Hey everyone, DennisCW here! I’m back with another exciting update straight from the Tesla world. Recently, a new leak surfaced on the official Tesla Mexico website, giving us a sneak peek at the upcoming Model S refresh. Unfortunately, the details seem to confirm some of the lackluster features we’ve been hearing about. Let’s dive into what this leak reveals and what it means for Tesla enthusiasts like us.
Thanks to Tesla Newswire for spotting this gem, we’ve got a fresh interior shot of what is clearly either a Model S or Model X. The telltale signs are all there: the signature horizontal screen, the dash behind the steering wheel, and the circular steering wheel that’s become a hallmark of Tesla’s design. One of the standout elements in this image is the ambient lighting that wraps around the interior, adding a sleek, modern vibe.
Additionally, there’s a metal insert below the phone charger, though this isn’t exactly new—it’s been a feature on older Model S and Model X vehicles. According to Dominique from Tesla Newswire, the Model S refresh might only include minor updates like a bumper camera, ambient lighting, and a new wheel design. There’s also mention of a new color option, but no new wheels seem to be confirmed just yet.
At this point, I’m holding off on final judgment, but I can’t help but feel a bit underwhelmed. The Model S Plaid has always been the more exciting variant with its track testing and performance focus, and I’m hoping Tesla doesn’t delay its refresh like they did with the Model 3 Performance and Model Y Performance. For now, it’s a waiting game to see if Tesla has any surprises up their sleeve. Will the Model S refresh deliver, or will it fall short of expectations? Only time will tell.
What do you think about this leak? Are you excited about the new Model S, Model X, or even the upcoming Model Y Performance? Drop your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear from you!
While we wait for more news on the Model S refresh, let’s talk about something every Tesla owner needs to know: accessories. Did you know that when you buy a Tesla, it comes with zero accessories? Not even a phone mount! But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with some must-haves that will make your Tesla experience even better.
