Hey everyone, DennisCW here! I recently got the chance to check out the latest Tesla Model X, and let me tell you, this car is way more exciting than I expected. From a jaw-dropping new blue color to some intriguing design updates, there’s a lot to unpack. Let’s dive into the details of this beauty—spoiler alert: it’s a Plaid!
First things first, let’s talk about the color. This Model X sports a stunning new blue shade that honestly looks so much better in person than in photos or videos. It’s hidden behind a Model S in my footage, but trust me, when you see it, it pops! This hue reminds me a lot of the popular China Blue seen on the Model Y, and I have a feeling it’s going to be a huge hit with Tesla fans. If you’re considering a Model X, this color is one you need to see IRL to truly appreciate.
Moving beyond the color, there are some notable design changes that caught my eye. One of the first things I noticed was a unique side area—possibly for protection or even a kick panel. I’m not entirely sure if this is on the current Model X, so I’ll need to double-check, but it definitely adds a fresh touch to the design. Additionally, the black trim on the side gives the car a sleek, modern vibe that pairs beautifully with the new blue.
Then there are the wheels—oh man, these are gorgeous! The Model X I checked out had new wheel caps and, get this, red brake calipers. That’s a dead giveaway that we might be looking at a Plaid model, but I’ll confirm that in a bit. These calipers and caps add a sporty flair that elevates the overall look of the car. I’m curious if this is standard on the current generation, so I’ll be comparing it to other Model Xs soon.
Let’s talk interior for a moment. While it was a bit hard to capture on camera, I did notice some cool updates inside this six-seater Model X. There’s new ambient lighting that adds a premium feel, along with a sleek silver stripping along the sides. The black interior looks sharp and pairs well with the exterior color. It’s these little details that make the cabin feel even more luxurious and futuristic—classic Tesla!
Finally, I made my way to the back of the car, and there it was—the Plaid badging. Yup, this is indeed a Model X Plaid! That confirms the red calipers and hints at the insane performance we’ve come to expect from Tesla’s Plaid lineup. Honestly, seeing the badging just tied everything together and got me even more hyped about this car.
Overall, this new Model X Plaid is an absolute stunner. The blue color, the design tweaks, and the Plaid performance make it a standout in Tesla’s lineup. I can’t stress enough how much better it looks in person, so if you get the chance to see one at a showroom or event, don’t miss out.
