Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're in the market for a Tesla, especially a Model 3, things are heating up—and not in a good way for procrastinators. In my latest video, I broke down the latest signals from Tesla that point to major incentives disappearing fast. With only about 40 days left until the $7,500 federal tax credit vanishes, and now 0% financing on the chopping block, it's time to act if you're serious about scoring a deal. Let's dive into the details and what this could mean for you.
Tesla has officially set a deadline: the 0% financing offer for the Model 3, which includes Full Self-Driving (FSD), ends on September 1st. To lock it in, you need to place your order by September 1st and take delivery by September 30th. This deal is only available for up to 60 months, and you must purchase or transfer FSD to qualify. If you skip FSD, you're looking at 2.49% financing instead.
This update comes straight from Tesla North America's X account and posts by Tesla exec Raj. They've linked to their offers page, highlighting that many incentives are wrapping up soon. It's a clear signal that Tesla is pulling back as we approach the end of the quarter.
This isn't just about financing. Other perks are vanishing too:
Looking ahead, I wouldn't be surprised if we see deadlines for 0% APR on other models like the Cybertruck, Model S, or Model X. Tesla recently dropped some luxury packages on the S and X, and adding 0% financing could be a game-changer for buyers in that segment. Heck, it might even tempt me into a Model S Plaid—it's the standout with its performance edge.
With delivery estimates showing strong demand for Model 3 and Y, Tesla might not need these incentives much longer. We're in the final stretch before the tax credit expires, so if you're on the fence, now's the time.
If you're ready to pull the trigger on a Tesla, don't forget to use a referral code! Mine is in the description below—it'll get you three months of FSD for free. If you're already buying FSD, using my code supports the channel, and I appreciate everyone who's done that so far.
Also, if you're trading in or selling your current vehicle, check out Give Me The Vin. They specialize in getting you top dollar for your Tesla or any car, all from home. One viewer got $3,000 more than Tesla's trade-in offer—definitely worth a shot. Link in the description.
Before you apply for that Tesla financing, protect your credit—it's crucial. Bank of America recently had a data breach and waited a month to tell customers. On average, companies take 277 days (that's 9 months!) to report breaches, leaving your info exposed.
That's why I use Aura, today's sponsor. Aura scans the dark web for your personal info like social security numbers, bank details, and emails, alerting you immediately. Plus, it reduces spam calls, removes your data from shady broker sites, and includes $5 million in identity theft insurance—all in one app.
