Hey everyone, DennisCW here! I’m beyond excited to share some incredible news for all Tesla owners and road trip enthusiasts out there. Tesla has just opened a massive 168-stall Supercharger station in California, and it’s a game-changer for anyone traveling between Southern California and Northern California, like from LA to the Bay Area or vice versa. Let’s dive into the details of this impressive new addition to Tesla’s charging network!
If you’re someone who frequently drives between Southern and Northern California, this is huge news. Located right off Interstate 5—one of the main highways connecting these regions—this new Supercharger station is perfectly positioned for convenience. I checked the route myself, and it’s ideally placed for a quick stop during those long drives. Whether you’re heading up to San Francisco or down to LA, this station is ready to power you up.
What’s even more impressive? The station is partially powered by megawatts of solar energy. Just take a look at the array of solar panels covering the area—it’s a testament to Tesla’s commitment to sustainable energy. This isn’t just a charging station; it’s a step toward a greener future.
One of the coolest features of this new Supercharger station is how Tesla has considered the needs of all drivers, including those towing trailers. They’ve strategically placed specific stalls with extra space to accommodate trailers and larger setups. This kind of forward-thinking design ensures that no Tesla owner is left out, no matter what they’re hauling.
As of now, 84 of the 168 stalls are operational, which is already a massive setup. The remaining stalls will likely open soon, making this one of the largest Supercharger stations in the world. And here’s the kicker—these are all V4 Superchargers, capable of delivering up to 325 kW of power. At the moment, the Cybertruck is the only Tesla vehicle that can take full advantage of this speed, but it’s exciting to see Tesla future-proofing their infrastructure for upcoming models.
I’m actually planning a trip up north in the near future, and I’m hoping to stop by this incredible station myself. If you’re in the area or frequently travel this route, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Are you planning to check out this Supercharger? Have you already stopped by? Drop a comment below and let me know what you think. There are plenty of cool Supercharger locations along the Bay Area to Southern California route, but this one definitely stands out.
Speaking of road trips, if you’re logging a lot of miles on highways like I-5, protecting your Tesla’s paint is a must. That’s where our friends at Tesbros come in. They offer fantastic Paint Protection Film (PPF) kits with multiple options to suit your needs—whether you want just the essentials, full frontal coverage, or even protection for the entire vehicle. The best part? Their kits come with everything you need for a DIY installation. Check them out if you’re looking to shield your Tesla from road debris and wear.
If DIY isn’t your thing, I’ve got a great recommendation for those in Southern California. Hit up my friend Andre, the owner of 24K Shine. He’s worked on several of my previous vehicles, providing top-notch ceramic coating and detailing services. Mention the “Dennis Deal” when you contact him on Instagram or Yelp, and he’ll hook you up with something special.
This new 168-stall Tesla Supercharger station is a monumental addition to California’s EV infrastructure. With its solar-powered setup, thoughtful design for trailers, and cutting-edge V4 chargers, it’s clear that Tesla is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for electric vehicle charging. I can’t wait to see more stations like this pop up across the country.
What do you think about this new Supercharger? Are you as hyped as I am? Let me know in the comments, and don’t forget to like and subscribe for more Tesla updates and EV content. Until next time, keep charging forward!
