Tesla's Latest Discounts, Model Y Updates, and Exclusive Giveaway
Hey everyone, Dennis here from DennisCW! Welcome back to another deep dive into all things Tesla. If you're into deal hacking, incentives, and the latest Tesla news, you're in the right place. In this post, based on my recent video, we'll cover everything from fresh discounts on the refreshed Model S and Model X to exciting updates on the Model Y, app features, and even a fun giveaway. Let's jump in!
First Look: Discounts on the Refreshed Model S and Model X
Tesla isn't messing around with inventory – they've already started offering discounts on the brand new refreshed Model S and Model X. We're talking up to $3,890 off on the Model X Plaid and $1,490 off on the Model S Plaid. These are demo vehicles with low miles, like a white Model S Plaid with black interior and 19-inch wheels for around $100,000. Some even qualify for leasing at $1,429 a month.
This is a big signal that Tesla might get more aggressive with inventory discounts across the board. If you're eyeing a Model Y, watch for bigger deals on aged demo units – think $2 per mile off or more. With no major incentives like 0% financing yet for these flagships, I predict we'll see better offers soon, especially as inventory builds up.

Sponsorship Spotlight: Must-Have Tesla Accessories from Joah
Your new Tesla comes with zero accessories – not even a phone mount! That's where my partners at Joah come in. Their phone mounts, center console organizers, and underscreen storage are essentials I use in all my Teslas. Plus, they've got cool extras like wireless game controllers, portable air compressors, and even electric scooters.

Tesla Loyalty Benefits: What's New in the App?
Tesla just rolled out a new Loyalty Benefits page in the app (under Refer and Earn). If you own a Tesla and buy another:
- Model 3/Y: $500 off + FSD transfer.
- Model S/X/Cybertruck: $1,000 off.
There's even a solar system benefit for cross-purchases. This seems like a permanent perk, rewarding repeat buyers like me (we're on our ninth Tesla!). Check it out if you're a current owner.
EV Charger Incentive Alert for Anaheim, CA
Heads up, Southern California folks! Anaheim is reducing rebates for home EV chargers starting September 1st: from $500 to $300 for standard, and $1,000 to $600 for networked ones. Shoutout to Smart Plug EV (Tesla-authorized installer) for the tip – mention the "Dennis deal" for help claiming up to $1,000. Act fast before more utilities follow suit!
Exciting Updates on the Model Y 6-Seater (LL Version)
The China-exclusive Model Y LL (6-seater) just got even better: all second and third-row seats fold flat! This makes it super versatile for families or utility needs, with a center aisle, potential bigger battery, and new seat designs. Fingers crossed for a US release soon – it's been about a month since the announcement, and Tesla often follows China quickly. Would you wait for this?
Ramp-Up in Model Y Production at Giga Texas
With the $7,500 federal tax credit expiring soon, Tesla is boosting Model Y production at Giga Texas. Drone footage shows extended shifts and new equipment, likely focusing on rear-wheel-drive models (they're selling out fast). If you're planning to buy, place a $250 deposit now to secure your spot – deliveries could get tight by September. Remember, use a referral code for FSD perks!
Latest Tesla App Updates
The new app version brings handy features:
- Maintenance Costs: See prices like $75 for cabin filter replacement or $275 for wheel alignment.
- Tesla Shop Button: Quick access to merch.
- Sunrun Solar Integration and Wall Connector updates for third-party control.
- Actually Smart Summon reminders.
Update your app and let me know if you spot anything else!
