First, get pre-qualified with a soft inquiry on Tesla's site—just your name, DOB, phone, and income. It gives you a ballpark monthly payment without dinging your credit.
The real hack? Finance through a credit union for lower rates. I've used these personally:
- Labor Credit Union: 4.79% for 48 months, 5.29% for 60 months—better than Tesla's rate!
- Navy Federal Credit Union: 4.49% up to 60 months, 4.79% up to 72 months (a bit harder to join, but worth it).
