Tesla Model S Plaid: A Stunning Beast in Real Life

While I’ve previously checked out the Model S Long Range and the Model X Plaid, they didn’t quite have the wow factor I was hoping for. But the Model S Plaid? It’s on a whole other level, and I can’t wait to share my thoughts with you.

Why the Model S Plaid Stands Out

Let’s be real—pictures and videos don’t do this car justice. Sure, we’ve all seen the launch video of the Model S Plaid, but in person, it’s a completely different story. This car looks wildly aggressive, far more than any photo or video could convey. From the lower spoiler jutting out with bold black accents to the massive diffuser that almost looks aftermarket, every detail screams performance. And don’t even get me started on the huge rear spoiler and the unique Plaid badging—it’s a total game-changer.

The refreshed Model S Plaid also sports distinct wheels and a carbon fiber bumper piece that adds to its menacing vibe. Seeing it in silver, as captured by fellow YouTuber Ryan Shaw, only amplifies how fantastic it looks. Compared to the rest of the Model S and Model X lineup, the Plaid S takes the crown for the most dramatic transformation. It’s hands-down the most striking update in Tesla’s current offerings.
