In this blog post, I'm recapping the key highlights from my recent video, where we dove into some exciting Tesla developments. From the surprise US sighting of the Model Y 6-seater to insane Cybertruck lease deals and upcoming features, there's a lot to unpack. Let's jump right in!

Even though Elon Musk has said the Model Y 6-seater isn't coming to the US until next year, it's already been spotted stateside! Tesla Newswire shared photos of the Model Y L with a white (or is it light gray?) interior at Tesla's design center in Los Angeles. You can even spot a California license plate nearby, confirming it's here in the US.
This isn't a sign of immediate production, but it could mean Tesla is testing or refining the design for the American market. The seats look super comfortable with ventilated features and a massive cushion—definitely a step up. Interestingly, the interior appears more like a premium light gray than the standard white we're used to. Could this be a new color option?
While it's likely here for research, it's exciting to think it might arrive sooner. If you're waiting for a 6-seater Model Y, it seems like a 2025 thing, but fingers crossed! What do you think—will this bring in new buyers who need that extra row? Let me know in the comments.
Quick update on Cybertruck trade-ins: Yesterday, we talked about Tesla offering wild values like $100K–$118K, but it turns out that was a software glitch. Now, they're only accepting Foundation Series trade-ins, not the all-wheel-drive models. Still intriguing—why limit it? If you've got thoughts on this, share them below.
Before we dive deeper, a shoutout to today's sponsor, Aura. If you're financing a Tesla, protect your credit first! Data breaches happen all the time (looking at you, Bank of America), and companies often take months to notify you. Aura scans the dark web for your info, reduces spam calls, removes your data from broker sites, and includes $5M in identity theft insurance—all in one app.

Tesla just slashed Cybertruck lease payments, making them more accessible than ever. You can snag a rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck for as low as $679/month (with $5K down, 36 months), or go all-wheel-drive for just $699/month. This factors in the $7,500 federal tax credit, which ends September 30th—so act fast!
If you're in Massachusetts, it's even better: Combine the federal incentive with a state EV truck rebate for up to $15,000 off, dropping payments to around $471/month for RWD. Business owners, this could pair perfectly with Section 179 deductions. Pretty crazy deals—would you jump on this?

Great news for Cybertruck owners: Tesla is rolling out wheel, tire, and windshield insurance in the next week or so. If you've been waiting (like me), this is huge—especially with windshields costing $1,500+ to replace. It might expand to other models too. Worth it? Depends on your state and insurance, but I'm excited to add it to ours.
Tesla is introducing a dedicated Low Power Mode to conserve energy during long parking periods, like at airports. It disables features like Sentry Mode, Standby Summon, outlets, climate keep-on, camp mode, and more. Sentry Mode being off is a bummer—maybe a 'lite' version could monitor basics? This has been highly requested, so it's a welcome addition. What features would you want adjustable?
Your new Tesla comes with zero accessories—not even a phone mount! That's why I recommend essentials from Joah: a sturdy phone mount, center console organizer, under-screen storage, wireless game controller, portable air compressor, and even an electric scooter for charger runs.

Tesla Sweden just introduced 0% financing on Model 3 and Y, plus trade-in deductions up to 40,000 SEK—available until September 27th. Not in the US yet, but it hints at more incentives coming in Q4. With the $7,500 credit potentially changing, stay tuned. For max value on your trade-in, try givemethevin.com instead of Tesla—they've helped community members get $3K more!
That's the latest from the Tesla world—exciting times ahead with the Model Y 6-seater sighting, killer deals, and new features. If you're buying a Tesla, don't miss my Deal Checklist and referral code to save big.
