Hey everyone, DennisCW here! Today, I’m diving into the buzz surrounding Tesla's latest Model Y. If you’ve been following the Tesla community, you might have seen Dave Lee’s viral post on social media, racking up over 21 million views. He said, "Tesla's new Model Y is an amazing car. Smoother, quieter, better sound system, more refined rear screen and controls, blind spot monitor, air-conditioned front seats, ventilated seats, and much more. Well done Tesla team." I couldn’t agree more, and in this post, I’m sharing my thoughts on the Model Y after spending some time with this impressive vehicle.
The new Model Y is part of Tesla’s latest launch series, and it’s a significant upgrade over its predecessor. From the moment you step inside, you notice the refinement. It’s smoother and quieter, making every drive feel like a luxury experience. The upgraded sound system is a game-changer for music lovers, and the rear screen and controls have been polished for a more intuitive user experience. Add to that features like the blind spot monitor and ventilated seats, and you’ve got a vehicle that’s packed with innovation.
One of the standout aspects for me is the Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability. Once activated, it transforms the driving experience, taking you wherever you need to go with ease. It’s like having a personal chauffeur, and it’s a feature I highly recommend.
Overall, the Model Y is a comfortable and highly advanced vehicle that I believe is worth the investment. I’m excited to see how it holds up over the next four years or 50,000 miles—whichever comes first.
While I’m thrilled with the Model Y, I’ve noticed a couple of small issues that I want to mention for transparency. There’s a slight noise coming from the steering rack, and I’ve also picked up on a sound from the front suspension or air control near the left tire. These “rickety racketies,” as I like to call them, seem to be getting a bit worse over time. I’m planning to take the car to a Tesla service center to get these checked out, and I’m confident they’ll be resolved quickly.
These minor hiccups don’t detract from the overall experience, but they’re worth noting if you’re considering a Model Y. I’d love to hear from other Model Y owners—have you encountered similar issues, or has your ride been flawless? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
One thing to keep in mind when purchasing a Tesla is that it comes with zero accessories. Seriously, not even a phone mount! But don’t worry—I’ve got you covered with some must-have accessories to enhance your Tesla experience. I’ve partnered with Joah, a fantastic brand that offers high-quality Tesla accessories, and I personally use their products.
Here are a few essentials I recommend:
Joah doesn’t stop at the basics. They also offer unique products like a wireless game controller that fits perfectly in the glove box, a portable air compressor for peace of mind on long trips, and even an electric scooter to zip around from Superchargers or Level 2 chargers.
You can save money on these accessories by using my promo code (check the description of my video for details) and get free shipping on orders over $120. Be sure to check out Joah via the link in my video description, and a huge thanks to them for partnering with my channel!
All in all, I’m incredibly impressed with the Tesla Model Y. It’s a highly recommended vehicle that offers cutting-edge features and a comfortable ride. Once I get those small issues fixed at the Tesla service center, I’m confident it will be even more phenomenal. I’m curious to hear from you—whether you’ve already bought a Model Y or are planning to, what are your thoughts?
