Hey everyone, Dennis here from DennisCW! If you're a fan of my YouTube channel where I dive deep into Tesla deal hacking, you're in the right place. This blog post is based on my recent video where I broke down some urgent updates on Tesla incentives, upcoming deadlines, and a bunch of other EV news. If you haven't watched the video yet, check it out here. Let's jump right in – time is of the essence with these deals!
Tesla is starting to pull back on some of its sweetest incentives, and we've got hard deadlines approaching fast. The free option credit – think free paint upgrades or other add-ons – for inventory Model 3 and Model Y vehicles is ending soon in the US.
This means discounts of $1,000 to $2,000 on things like premium paint colors could vanish. I've been checking inventory, and in high-demand areas like California, stock is clearing out quickly, especially for the rear-wheel-drive Model Y. If you're eyeing one, don't wait – head to Tesla's new inventory page (not the standard order page) to find vehicles with these credits applied.
Pro tip: Always use a Tesla referral code (like mine in the video description) for three months of free Full Self-Driving (FSD). It supports the channel too!
Demand for the Model Y is surging, with delivery estimates now at 4-6 weeks (up from 1-3). This lines up with the $7,500 federal tax credit expiring on September 30th – you must take delivery by then to qualify. I'm leaning 70/30 that we won't see better deals before the end of the quarter; the tax credit is driving a lot of sales right now.
If you're trading in your current vehicle, skip Tesla's trade-in and check sites like GiveMeTheVin.com for better offers. They're even running a $25,000 cash giveaway – links in the description.
What do you think? Will Tesla drop more discounts, or is now the time to buy? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
Before financing your Tesla, protect your credit! With data breaches like Bank of America's recent one, it's crucial. I use Aura to monitor the dark web, reduce spam calls, and more. Try it free for 14 days at aura.com/denniscw.
Mercedes is struggling to move the electric G580 (MSRP ~$169K), so they're offering leases at $1,769/month (48 months, 7,500 miles/year, $5K down in LA). It's luxurious but range-limited at ~225 miles. If interested, DM my broker friend at Rio LL Motors.
Tesla's partnering with companies like AMD for up to $1,000 off for employees (through September 30th). If your company isn't on the list, talk to HR – it might be worth a shot, especially for tech firms.
New Tesla? It comes with zero accessories. Grab essentials from Joah like phone mounts, organizers, and even an electric scooter. Use my promo code for savings and free shipping over $120.
Don't forget all-weather floor mats from 3W Liners – my top pick with 35% off using code DENNIS35.
Congrats to Tesla Carrie P for winning the Tesla Diner Robot! Thanks to everyone who entered – stay tuned for more giveaways.
