Tesla RoboTaxi Launching This Weekend? Plus Top Accessories
Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're as excited about Tesla's latest moves as I am, buckle up because we've got some big news from the world of autonomous driving and some must-have accessories to enhance your Tesla ownership experience. In this post, I'll break down the rumored RoboTaxi launch in California and share my top accessory recommendations. Let's dive in!
Tesla's RoboTaxi Set to Hit San Francisco Streets
Tesla is reportedly gearing up to launch its RoboTaxi service in California, and get this – it could happen this weekend! According to Business Insider, Tesla has informed staff that the rollout will start in San Francisco. We're not far from the action here, and it's wild to think autonomous rides could be just days away.
What makes this even more intriguing? Tesla has been posting job listings for vehicle operators in places like Austin, Texas; Palo Alto, California; and Tempe, Arizona. If San Francisco kicks off successfully, we might see expansions to Arizona and beyond soon.
Key Details on the Launch
- Geo-Fenced Area: The service will cover a broad region, including Marin, East Bay, San Francisco, and San Jose. That's a significant footprint for a debut!
- Safety First: Initially, safety drivers will be in the driver's seat to oversee operations.
- Exclusive Access: Select Tesla owners will get invites to try the paid RoboTaxi service.
I'm personally thrilled about this and can't wait to hop in one myself. If you're interested, head over to tesla.com/robotaxi to sign up and be among the first users.
A recent study shows people are growing more comfortable with hands-free driving features, which bodes well for a post-autonomy world. Elon Musk might be onto something here – imagine a future where you just get in and let the car handle the rest. What do you think? Have you tried a self-driving feature? Are you ready for RoboTaxis? Must-Have Tesla Accessories: My Top Picks
Congrats if you've just bought a Tesla or are about to – that's exciting! But the fun doesn't stop there. Accessories can take your ride to the next level. With so many options out there, I've narrowed it down to my top three categories: phone mounts, all-weather floor mats, and center consoles.
1. All-Weather Floor Mats (My #1 Recommendation)
Protecting your Tesla's interior is crucial, especially in messy weather. I break them down into good, better, and best options:
- Good: Affordable finds on Amazon.
- Better: Brands like Tasmanian for solid quality.
- Best: My all-time favorite is the 3W Liners set, which we use on our Model X and Model 3 Performance. They're high-quality and durable.
Pro tip: Use my exclusive promo code DENNIS35 for 35% off at 3W Liners – their highest offer yet! Links and more deals are in the description below or on our best deals spreadsheet (page 2).
2. Center Consoles
Tesla doesn't include one stock, so this is a must-have for organization. I love the one from Jowua – we use it on all our Teslas. Check the link below for details.
3. Phone Mounts
Keep your device secure and accessible while driving. Jowua has a great option here too – reliable and easy to install.
I've got discount codes and links for all these in the description. A huge thanks to everyone who's used our links to support the channel – it means the world!
