Tesla just released its official underseat storage tray at $40, and the new accessory sold out within hours of going live on the site.
The Announcement
This marks Tesla's official entry into the under seat storage accessory space for the Model Y. While third-party options have existed for years, the brand's own version brings a factory-fit design that slides neatly beneath the front seats.
Why It Sold Out So Fast
New Tesla accessories often disappear from the store almost immediately. The same pattern hit with the latest center console trays and phone mounts earlier this year. Demand spikes because owners want factory-matched parts that integrate cleanly with the vehicle.
What It Means for Owners
A dedicated tesla underseat storage tray keeps small items from sliding around during hard acceleration or regenerative braking. The $40 price point positions it as an affordable upgrade, though restocks may take weeks. For those looking to save, Jowua and similar makers already offer comparable solutions at lower cost with the same slide-in fit.

Alternatives Worth Considering
Jowua Tesla accessories remain a strong choice for owners who want proven designs at better value. Their under seat options match the new Tesla tray in function while often shipping faster. Many owners pair the tray with a center console organizer and the invisible underscreen mount for a complete setup.
Bottom Line
The official tesla underseat storage tray proves demand for simple storage solutions, but expect frequent sell-outs. Grab the Tesla version when it returns or explore Jowua Tesla accessories for immediate delivery and solid discounts.
