That's way better than the current offers—3.49% for 60 months or 4.99% for 72 months on the Model Y.
Tesla initially quoted him 5.59%, but Krishna didn't settle. If you placed an order during the 1.99% promo period (even if you canceled and reordered), you might still qualify. Here's how Krishna did it:
- Check Your Order Date: Confirm it was before the promo ended (e.g., June 28th for Q2).
- Contact Tesla: Reach out and ask them to honor the original rate. Mention your initial order date.
- Refill the Credit Application: Krishna had to resubmit his credit app.
- Verify Details Over the Phone: Call Tesla to confirm everything—they approved his 1.99% APR for 72 months.
