Rivian R2 Delivery Buzz: Employees First

Exciting news for Rivian fans! Multiple sources confirm that Rivian has emailed all eligible employees (including those at Rivian and Rivian Volkswagen tech groups) about the R2 employee delivery program for Launch Editions. Deliveries for these employee units are happening very soon – looks like spring is on track for them!

Shoutout to Chris for sharing this intel. Regular customers like us? We'll get our notifications in June, but actual deliveries might be 1-2 years out, pushing into spring 2026.

It's a bit misleading right now – head to the Rivian R2 site and it screams "available spring 2026" starting at $57-58K with those stunning colors. You can place your order, but don't expect it in your driveway that soon. Still, can't wait to see real R2s hitting the roads with employees and early customers!
