Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're in the market for a Tesla Cybertruck, you've probably come across some enticing discounts popping up—$4,000 to $5,000 off sounds like a steal, right? But hold on before you jump in. In my latest video, I dove deep into why these deals might not be as great as they seem, especially when it comes to leasing. Let's break it down in this blog post so you can make an informed decision.
On the surface, snagging a Cybertruck with a hefty discount feels like winning the lottery. However, there's something off about how these savings translate into real-world costs. Many of these discounts are lease-only, which comes with perks like the Foundation Series wheels (those awesome 35-inch ones) for better value. But not all deals include them, and that's just the start.
Take this example: A base Cybertruck with no discounts—core wheels, black or gray interior—leases for $699 a month. Now, compare that to one with nearly $5,000 off, and the monthly payment drops to just $663. That's only a $36 difference! For a $5,000 discount, you'd expect a much bigger dip in payments. Plus, the discounted one might have 4,000 miles on it, which doesn't affect leasing much, but it's still something to note.
At the end of the day, any discount is better than none, but it's weird how the math isn't really "mathing." It makes you wonder if these deals are truly as beneficial as advertised.
Speaking of deals, the Cybertruck stands out as the only Tesla model offering 0% financing right now. The catch? You have to bundle it with Full Self-Driving (FSD). It's an interesting incentive, especially if you're eyeing FSD anyway.
If you're looking to score FSD for half off and have a pending Tesla delivery, shoot me a DM on Instagram (@DennisCW)—I can point you in the right direction. These promotions are time-sensitive, so don't sleep on them!
I'd love to hear your take on these Cybertruck deals. Are they worth it, or do they seem sketchy? Planning to snag one soon? Drop your thoughts in the comments below or hit me up on social media. The Cybertruck market is evolving fast, and community insights are gold.
Once you've got your Tesla (Cybertruck or otherwise), you might be surprised to find it comes with zero accessories—not even a phone mount! But no worries, I've got recommendations from my go-to partner, Joa.
In my opinion, every Tesla owner needs:
Joa's gear is top-notch; I use it all myself. They go beyond basics with cool extras like a wireless game controller that fits in the glove box, a portable air compressor for road trip peace of mind, and even an electric scooter to zip from superchargers without walking.
Use my promo code (check the description in my video) to save money and support the channel. Plus, get free shipping on orders over $120! Links are in the video description—thanks to Joa for partnering with us.
Tesla's Cybertruck is an exciting beast, but not all deals are created equal. Do your homework, crunch the numbers, and if something feels off, it probably is. Stay tuned for more Tesla tips and tricks—subscribe to my channel if you haven't already!
