A Cybertruck using Tesla Full Self-Driving just pulled the smartest Tesla FSD emergency vehicle avoidance move I've seen yet, shifting into the center of the road to clear a path without any driver input.
The clip comes from CJCJP and shows the truck stopped at a light when sirens approach fast in the same lane. Other cars stay put, but the Cybertruck reads the situation, eases forward and left, then continues once clear while the navigation recalculates on its own. The vehicle stays in FSD the entire time.
What changed with this update
Earlier versions often required you to disengage and handle the Tesla Full Self-Driving ambulance yield yourself. Now the system treats it like a toll booth or drive-thru stop: it moves, waits if needed, and resumes without drama. This Cybertruck FSD moves out of way behavior feels genuinely human-like.

Why it matters for owners
Everyday FSD just became more reliable in real traffic. You no longer babysit every siren. The same logic that powers this Cybertruck self driving maneuver also shows up in recent collision avoidance improvements and the latest navigation tweaks.
If you want to see how FSD handles other edge cases, I covered automatic collision avoidance here: https://denniscw.com/blog/tesla-fsd-automatic-collision-avoidance-review and the v15 pothole navigation update here: https://denniscw.com/blog/tesla-fsd-v15-update-pothole-navigation.
Bottom line
Tesla keeps closing the gap between supervised FSD and actual helpful autonomy. This kind of Tesla FSD emergency vehicle avoidance is exactly why the system feels worth it on daily drives. The Cybertruck simply did what any attentive driver would do, stayed in FSD, and kept going.
While you're in the car, small upgrades make the ride even better. The Jowua trunk LED that lights up automatically when you open the frunk or trunk is one of those simple wins, along with their phone mounts and desk accessories. Grab the discount code "Dennis5" for the best deal.
