Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a Tesla fan like me, you've got to check this out. A stock Tesla Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive just smashed what might be a new record: 564 miles on a single charge. Yeah, you read that right. This is straight-up crazy, and it was all done by fellow YouTuber Björn Nyland.
Björn drove at a constant 50 mph – not exactly highway speed here in the US (you might get some unhappy drivers tailgating you!), but perfect for a hypermiling challenge. The goal? Squeeze every last mile out of that battery.
The efficiency numbers are unreal:
No mods, no fancy tricks – just a stock Model 3 with everything optimized (think no AC, careful driving). This proves how capable these cars are when you push them to the limit.
Of course, in everyday driving, you're not hypermiling at 50 mph everywhere. Real-world range for the Model 3 Long Range is around 380 miles, and we've seen tests hit close to 400 miles at 70 mph. Still impressive, right? It's reassuring to know your Tesla has this kind of headroom if you ever need it on a long trip.
Shoutout to Björn for putting this to the test – it's awesome to see the potential in action!
How does your Model 3 or Model Y perform? Is it matching expectations, or have you noticed any dips? Drop your thoughts in the comments below – I'd love to hear your stories!
One way to protect your ride (and keep it looking new for those long drives) is with top-notch all-weather floor mats. My favorites are from 3W. Use promo code DENNIS35 for 35% off – a massive deal! They're also bundling discounts on other accessories right now.
